Carolyn Olson the CEO and Founder of HR Alliance, Inc. Since 1998 she has led the company in serving thousands of clients nationwide. She has and continues to manages payroll experts; human resources specialist, and tax professional (including CPA &EA) to structure and administrate retirement and insurance benefits with tax saving Flex Plans, all administered by HR Alliance. She negotiates with major Insurances Companies to ensure her clients have the best insurance policies with the lowest national group rate. She has specializing in Corporation and Partnerships accounting and tax practices for over 35 year. She prides herself in being an expert in designing companies’ futures, business sales and restructuring companies for Corporate Tax laws, saving her clients thousands of dollars a year.

Carolyn Olson is one of the VIP guest speakers. She will be going over Corporate, Individual and Partnerships structures to show how each can integrate with the  HR Alliance, Inc. payroll and benefits program.



Andrew Barden the CSO (Chief Strategy Officer), helps manage the team of recruiters, HR Agents, HR specialists, payroll specialists, and benefits administration specialists.





David Hughey, PhD, MA HR, HR Agent, Insurance Agent  David left the Cayman Islands after serving as faculty member and college dean in 2001 and resettled in Washington.  He passed the CPA exam in 2002 after obtaining master’s degrees in accounting and human resources management.  Afterwards, he became the owner of David V. Hughey Accounting and Consulting.  He added insurance qualifications in 2007. He currently brokers VSP insurance, Life of the Southwest Insurance annuities, and Colonial Life for HR Alliance, Inc.  He has published book reviews in Personnel Psychology, Issues in Accounting Education, and The International Journal of Accounting.  He is also a published poet and has won awards for his service to Education in the Cayman Islands and in photography.  He is an associate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Washington State Tax Consultants.

JIm BestJim Best, spent the lion’s share of my career in upper retail management with company’s such as The Federated Group, Circuit City, Best Buy and Micron Electronics.   For the past 10 years, I have been self-employed in the Insurance & Real Estate Industries.   Additionally, the first 23 years of my life were on a dairy farm including row-cropping 500 acres.   I volunteer for the Local Lion’s Club and am a past President and currently the Vice-President.

Karen is a 20 year Navy Veteran, she retired in 2007 as an ET1(SW/AW). During her career in the Navy she was a career counselor and a recruiter, she loved taking care of people and going the extra mile for them. After the Navy she learned income taxes, was a loan officer, and became an insurance agent fully licensed in property, casualty, life, and health.
